Make your skin issues such as psoriasis and ecxema vanish with these helpful and
healthy tips. by Abigale Puddingstone 1-20-2012
I have a family member who suffers from skin conditions and battles embarrassing flair-ups due to ecxema
and psoriasis. Until recently, my poor relative spent several years traveling back and forth from dermatolgists offices, trying
several different treatments, using a variety of prescription medications, all of which proved to be unsuccessful. As a family
collective, we did our own research on the condition and read up on various success stories and healthy alternatives to treating
the issue. So here is what we came up with, and might I add, the family member in question has been clear of most visible
signs of psoriasis and ecxema. At one point, they were covered in flakey white scales on about 80 percent of their body due
to a massive attack from this disease. Although Psoriasis is in-fact a disease, and there is no known cure (or so we're led
to believe), you should never give up hope. There are skin treatments that will help you battle it if you give yourself time
to commit to the fight. I won't say these tips will "cure" your condition, but they will help you rid your body
of most signs of psoriasis and practically make it vanish.
Step 1: I
know you've heard this a million times but avoid as much stress as possible. Stress plays a major role in skin issues. It
wreaks havok on the immune system and in turn, this will have an adverse affect on your psoriasis. Step 2: You've heard this too but it's so very important. Drink lots of water.
Your body needs to stay hydrated as much as possible. Also, think about altering your diet somewhat.
Stay away from "flare-up foods" such as caffeine, spicy seasonings such as cajun powder and eliminating candy will
do wonders for you in many more ways than just treating your skin. Think about incorporating a raw-food
diet into your lifestyle. This has worked well. Step 3: Use
a good moisturizer. If I were to have written this a few months ago, I would be praising Aveeno
for their wonderful moisturizer treatments on the market. A few years ago, Aveeno put out a product called Intense
Relief Repair Cream. It came in an 8oz jar, cost roughly $12.99 and was without a doubt the best skin treatment on
the market that was available over-the-counter. It was non-greasy, easy to apply and was fast acting in the treatment against
skin conditions such as ecxema and psoriasis. My family member with the skin condition used it and after two weeks of regular
use, 3-times-a-day, their condition was clearing up. From reading the reviews from other customers, they were all saying the
same thing. It looked as though finally there was something on the market that gave people with such dreadful skin conditions
hope. However, in early 2011, this product seemed to be vanishing from the shelves and by summer, it was all but impossible
to find it. Now, I have no proof of what I'm going to say because it's only my (and several others) speculation, but I firmly
believe that this product was working so well that either goverment agencies such as the FDA or certain medical agencies started
poking their noses around where they didn't belong. In short, I believe that they came after Aveeno, urged them to take this
product off the market and as a result, people who found relief with that product now have to suffer once again. And if I'm
right, Aveeno should be ashamed of themselves for caving in such as they did. Again, this is my opinion so don't come after
me for voicing my opinion. (That means you Aveeno and any other goverment agencies!) So, after
much searching, we discovered an amazing moisturizer which is produced right here in California called Infinite
Aloe. This amazing aloe cream comes in an 8oz jar, and is comprised of healthy ingredients which will nourish your
skin. The only drawback is the cost. A single jar will run you $50.00. And you really need to use this product liberally and
continually to achieve the reults you're looking for. If you order direct from their website (Just google Infinite Aloe),
you will find that often times they run seasonal specials where you can buy 6 or 12 jars for a discounted bulk rate, and you
will receive free small jars in addition to your order. This is all at your discretion, but I can tell you that this skin
cream is incredible and you will feel and see positive results in the first few days of regular use (I recommend 3 times daily,
and use it all over your body right after you shower.) As I said, it's expensive, but after you get the results you need,
you can order and use less once you find your comfort level. It's definitely worth the investment for the sake of your healthy
skin. Step 4: (Optional) There is one other product I will mention,
which is new on the market but has been getting rave reviews from customers who have used it and my family member who suffers
from psoriasis recently used it and saw fast and effective results. It's called Psor-val (Google
it) and it costs $60.00 for a can. I only suggest this product as a suppliment to the previous steps I mentioned. I suggest
Psor-Val for sufferers who have extreme skin conditions due to psoriasis and ecxema. If you begin with the previous steps,
you will have improved your daily lifestyle, and nourished your skin with a healthy aloe product that will improve your appearance.
The Psor-Val is good to keep on hand to use periodically when flare-ups occur and you want to treat the specific area more
aggressively. This product is fast absorbing, odorless and highly effective. I really hope these
suggestions have been both enlightening and useful. It's a shame that with so many sufferers of an incurable disease, that
there have been little advancements in treatments other than harmful medications and tedious visits to dermatologist offices
for ultraviolet treatments, which can be harmful over time as well. Give yourself some time with these suggestions I offered
and I'm positive that over time you will be looking and feeling a lot better. Good luck. (Ocean View Press assumes no responsibily for the statements and opinions made by the author. The
